all documents related to special services now housed on powerschool

Dear Parents/Guardians,
In 2018 the Troy School District transitioned to a new student management system - PowerSchool. As a result, all documents related to Special Services (IFSPs, IEPs and 504s) are now housed in PowerSchool.  There is a feature available in PowerSchool for parents of students who are receiving special services to view finalized documents and their attachments. As of September 2021, parents and guardians will be able to view all documents from their home computers. To view documents, you must have your account in PowerSchool set-up.  If you need assistance, please email  pssupport@troy.k12.mi.us
Through the use of the on-line viewer in PowerSchool Special Programs you will also be able to use a feature called immersive reader.  This feature allows you to translate documents into over 80 different languages, it will read portions of the document to you along with several other available accommodations.
Please see the attachment for a step-by-step guide to view all your student’s finalized documents that are housed in PowerSchool Special Programs.
We hope that this feature will be helpful to you in the future.
